Beachside’s Tyler Shaver attends US Soccer’s National Residency Program in Bradenton, FL. He also also plays for the US National U17 team. which is preparing
for the FIFA U-17 World Cup in India this Fall.
Mickey Kydes was with the US Soccer team and staff for the final week of the Residency Program May 30-June 2nd.
He was present participating in a session of a new US Soccer Academy Directors course. Only 20 coaches nationwide have been selected for this
program.
“This was a good chance to spend time with Tyler and watch him training with some of the best players in the country. He has improved a lot, and is demonstrating promising leadership qualities” said Kydes. “We are very happy with his progress at the Residency Program. We will welcome him back next week at the Playoffs with the U17-18s in Texas”
