Our Beachside Soccer Club Northeast Academy (NEAL), MLS Next & MLS Next II Tryouts are for dedicated soccer players looking to be evaluated for our Spring 2025 Beachside teams for their age groups.
Players attending tryouts will be evaluated for our MLS NEXT Teams & MLS Next II Teams.
At Beachside, we separate our U9 – U12 Teams into “North & South” to minimize the travel for training. Teams train and play as single teams, and usually pool train 1 x per week.
It’s highly recommended players attend both tryout dates to be evaluated by our coaching staff.
Tryout Guidelines will be communicated prior to the Tryouts.
U9 – U10 North NEAL Tryouts

- Time: 6:15 – 7:30 pm
- Field: University of Bridgeport – Turf Field – 113 University Ave, Bridgeport CT
Beachside North Teams:
Families living in Fairfield – New Haven area and above, should register for U9 – U10 North Tryouts. Teams will train in the Fairfield, Bridgeport, Stratford area.

Players must register for our Beachside MLS Next Trials and complete their “Player Information Form” to be considered for a Trial.
Boys Teams / Ages Groups:
- U15 (2011) – 9 – 10:15 AM
- U16 (2010) – 10:30 – 11:45 AM
- U17 (2009) – 12 – 1:15 PM
- U19 (2008-07) – 1:30 – 2:45 PM
At Beachside, beginning at U13, our teams compete in the MLS Next Program, which is the highest level of youth soccer in our country.
Players attending tryouts will be evaluated for our:
- NEAL – U9-U12 North & South
- MLS Next / Tier 1: U13-U19
- MLS Next II / Tier 2: U13-U19
Beachside has two teams per age group from U13 – U19.
- This allows for player movement between teams, consistency in training & game philosophy, and aligning our club developmental pathway.
We appreciate your patience with our response, as we are receiving higher than normal trial requests during this time.
